Referral Program T&C's

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26.08.2025

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the TrustDocs Planner-to-Planner Referral Program (“Referral Program”). By applying for a referral code or submitting a referral, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • Eligibility for the Referral Program is based on the location of the new consultant’s activity (England or Wales), not the referrer’s location.

  • Participants must be aged 18 or over.

  • Employees, contractors, and agents of TrustDocs Ltd. or any affiliated company are not eligible.

  • Referrals are valid only for new estate planners who have never been clients of TrustDocs and who are not already in our CRM system.

3. Referral Codes

  • Each eligible referrer will receive one unique referral code.

  • Your code may be shared privately or publicly (e.g. social media, networking groups).

  • Codes do not expire unless TrustDocs withdraws or cancels the Referral Program. In such cases, participants will be notified and any referrals already submitted will be honoured.

4. Rewards & Discounts

  • Referrer Reward: When your referral completes and pays for their first case, you will receive 50% off your next FAPT or FAPT+ case.

  • Referred Planner Reward: The consultant you refer will receive 25% off their first FAPT or FAPT+ case, provided they apply using your referral code by emailing [email protected].

  • Discounts apply to one case only and cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.

  • Rewards are applied as an invoice reduction (not cash).

5. Triggering of Rewards

  • The referrer’s discount is issued only once the referred consultant has completed and paid in full for their first case.

  • If the referred consultant cancels or fails to complete their first case, no reward will be issued.

  • Rewards will be applied within 30 days of the referred consultant’s first case being completed and paid.

6. Limitations & Restrictions

  • Self-referrals are not permitted.

  • Only the first referral code submitted with the new consultant’s first business submission will be recognised in cases of duplicate referrals.

  • Referrals are only valid for estate planners from different companies.

  • There is no maximum number of referrals a participant can make, provided each referral meets the eligibility criteria.

  • Discounts issued must be used within 60 days of the invoice payment received for the referred consultant’s first case.

7. Termination & Changes

  • TrustDocs Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw, suspend, or amend the Referral Program at any time.

  • Any referrals already submitted prior to such withdrawal or amendment will be honoured in line with these Terms.

8. Data Protection

  • By submitting a referral, you confirm that you have obtained consent from the referred consultant to share their details with TrustDocs.

  • All personal data will be handled in accordance with the TrustDocs Privacy Policy and in compliance with UK GDPR.

9. Liability

  • TrustDocs accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected referrals.

  • Discounts are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent.

  • TrustDocs is not liable for any loss, damage, or disappointment suffered by participants arising from their involvement in this Referral Program, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with this Referral Program shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably between the parties.

  • If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

  • Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief in the courts.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
