At TrustDocs, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, respect, and accountability. We want to address a recent incident involving inappropriate behaviour from our former colleague Tony Deane.

A message was sent from the LinkedIn account of Tony, which was entirely unacceptable and did not reflect the values of TrustDocs. We sincerely apologise for the distress this has caused.

Actions Taken by TrustDocs:

• Immediate Investigation: As soon as we became aware of the situation, we launched an internal investigation to establish the facts. Given that multiple assistants had access to Tony’s LinkedIn account, we submitted a formal request to LinkedIn to confirm the source of the message. Once Tony admitted to sending it, appropriate action was taken.

• Termination of Services: Following an emergency internal meeting, we made the decision to immediately terminate our working relationship with Tony Deane and we will no longer engage his services.

• Direct Apology: We have personally reached out to the recipient of the message with a formal apology, acknowledging the impact and reaffirming our commitment to professionalism and accountability.

• Internal Apology & Support: The leadership team has officially apologised to the entire team, which includes over 15 women employees, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive work environment.

• Preventive Measures: We are implementing mandatory social media conduct and workplace professionalism training for all employees and directors to ensure such incidents do not happen again.

We recognise the importance of addressing these matters transparently and responsibly. TrustDocs is taking the necessary steps to learn from this situation, reinforce our values, and strengthen our workplace policies to prevent future incidents.
